PETER GOOSSENS GEOMETRY

Serax Collections, het nieuwe label dat in 2011 werd gelanceerd, omvat een tableware collectie met drie lijnen waarin we de hand van de Belgische en Franse sterrenchefs Wout Bru, Peter Goossens en Michel Bras terugvinden. De Belgische topkeramisten Roos Van de Velde, Ann Van Hoey en Designer van het jaar 2007 Nedda-El-Asmar gaven dit culinaire ontwerp vorm.

Gedurfd design van Belgisch Designer van het jaar Bramboo, heruitgaven van vintage schalen van Belgisch designicoon Jules Wabbes en kleurrijke bloempotten, vazen en solifleurs van Pantone Universe versterken dit nieuwe label in interieurdesign.

Ontwikkeld in samenwerking met de Belgische keramiste Ann van Hoey, resulteert de behendige dialoog tussen geometrische vormen - van cirkel tot punt - in een ontegensprekelijk gevoel van sierlijkheid en puurheid. De Geometry collectie laat u door zijn zuivere vormen genieten van de verrukking en het genot van elke maaltijd.”

Dropp! Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid (Bagdad 1950) studied at the Architectural Association in London, where she qualified in 1977. She joined the Office for Metropolitan Architecture, with Rem Koolhaas and Elia Zenghelis, returned to lecture at the Architectural Association and then in other universities in Europe and the United States. Currently she teaches at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, and is Visiting Professor at Yale University. She began her professional career in 1979. In 1993 she was responsible for the Vitra Fire Station at Weil am Rhein, Germany, and a residential building for the iba in Berlin. Her major completed projects include the lf one pavilion at Weil am Rhein (1993-99); the Mind Zone at Millennium Dome in London (1997-99); a tram station and car park in Strasbourg (2001) and a ski jump in Innsbruck (2002). Her projects now under way include: the Contemporary Arts Centers in Rome and Cincinnati; a Science Centre in Wolfsburg, Germany; a ferry terminal at Salerno, Italy; a public square and multiplex cinema in Barcelona; the bmw Works in Leipzig; the extension to the Ordrupgaard Museum in Copenaghen and a bridge in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Zaha Hadid is also well known as a painter and designer: her work has been shown in various exhibitions in the United States, Japan, Britain and Germany.

NICHE

Niche is a centrepiece consisting of five separate dishes which can be nested or arranged in multiple configurations. Ridges emerge and pull away from the horizontal plane of the table top. Crossing through and shaping the dishes, they leave depressions suitable for the storage, display, and serving of various snacks and supplies.
